Who is NAPS 139 ?
About Us
NAPS Branch 139 represents postal supervisors and managers across Utah. We provide support, advocacy, and training to help our members succeed while ensuring fair treatment and strong leadership within the Postal Service. Our branch also builds community through meetings, events, and shared opportunities to grow together.
Our History
NAPS was founded in 1908 to give postal supervisors a unified voice. In Utah, Branch 139 was formed through the merging of local branches in 2005, bringing Ogden and Utah Valley supervisors together under one branch known as “Sundance.” Since then, Branch 139 has continued to protect members’ rights, host community events, and strengthen the role of supervisors in building a reliable Postal Service for our state.
Our Misson
Our mission is to represent and advocate for postal supervisors, managers, and postmasters by ensuring fair treatment, providing professional support, and promoting excellence in service. NAPS 139 is committed to protecting our members’ rights, strengthening the future of the Postal Service, and fostering unity and pride within our community
“True leadership is earned. Once earned, to maintain a leadership role, a leader must follow—the rules.”
Brian J. Wagner, NAPS Immediate Past National President (July 2, 2019, )
